META Academy is a high school that will equip students with Management, Entrepreneurship, Teaching, and Art skills so they live successful lives and design the future.
META is currently in development and aims to open in the Denver-metro area.
Management
Students learn how to lead projects, people, teams, and organizations.
They apply this after graduation to lead effective people, businesses, organizations, and social change efforts.
Entrepreneurship
Students learn how to work with communities to come up with new ways to address diverse issues and be effective problem solvers.
After graduation, it's a habit to collaborate with others to ideate, create, and build successful solutions and organizations.
Teaching
Students learn how to communicate complex ideas effectively, in a way that is actionable to their audience.
They apply this after graduation to cultivate support for initiatives, spread skills and resources to their communities, and advocate for/ with those often marginalized.
Art
Students unlock their creativity to use artistic expression and media to interestingly convey ideas.
After graduation, they can use graphic design, videography, audio production, 2-D art, spoken word and more to intrigue people into their work, movements, and projects.
Get Involved!
META is years from opening, and we are making progress daily! But we need your help. In the near future, we will add members to our Community Design Team, a collection of students, teachers, and community members who will co-create the school. We will also be seeking founding board members, who lend their expertise to oversee META, as well as future parents and students to attend META!
